• Flights
Flight bookings are up to the individual. However you may wish to try and book with other trip members depending on trip option you choose.

• Luxury Coach
Our bus is one of the most modern in the country and widely considered the Rolls Royce of coaches. The company used by JD Golf Tours for our trip is Kerry Coaches. We will be expected to tip the bus driver daily, however, a total cost will be provided by the committee.

•Trip Options
Trip members may decide to arrive early or stay later than the scheduled tour. Aidan has agreed to help with accommodations and golf dates. Please review the information provided on Trip Options page.

• Shirt Design
Shirt logo for our team competition against Shannon Golf Club for the International Shield. The logo will be placed on the sleeve of an all black Pine Ridge golf shirt.

• Power Carts
If you require a power cart please let Aidan O’Brien know. Generally you need a medical certificate to ride in Ireland. Royal County Down does not allow power carts.

• Caddies
You may hire a caddy at all golf courses ranging from 30(€) and up depending on experience.

• Currency
Ireland uses the euro (€); Northern Ireland, part of the United Kingdom, is on the pound sterling. Since the currency fluctuates continuously the final payment on July 1, 2011 will reflect the currency at that time.

• Room Sharing
Rooms will be double occupancy. You will be expected to pair up with someone prior to leaving for Ireland.

• Gifts
It is the tradition of all Ireland Tours that a gift to the host club will be presented as well as a tee gift for our fellow competitors. Cost will be shared between all trip members.

• Weather
Please be aware that weather can definitely be a factor. Please prepare your wardrobe accordingly. It’s important to stay warm and dry in order to enjoy the golf experience.
