Our Policies
Over the years our members have changed and evolved into our present day group. All policies were made by group consensus, group voting or responsible decision making by the players running our activities. This is a good venue to remind all players of the few rules and policies we do have. The main focus is that all members enjoy our group and the game of golf.
Bookings
- Please reply to the weekly emails no later than Tuesday 10:00 p.m. Please be aware of long weekends that have Monday bookings.
- If you wish not to email on a weekly basis please inform the Commissioner and you will be automatically booked (AutobookMe) unless otherwise advised.
- If you have not booked by Tuesday 10:00 p.m. please contact the Golf Shop and see if there is a threesome you can join. NOTE: fivesomes should not be made after Tuesday. Please do not contact the Commissioner.
- Fivesomes will be only be booked when the group total is 29, 33, 37 players etc. Most of us do not enjoy playing in a fivesome but accommodations will always be made on Saturday, Sunday or Mondays. You will always have a game.
- If you have booked and are unable to play it is only considerate to call the golf shop and cancel your booking so your playing partners have the oppourtunity to find a replacement.
- The Weekend Draw that has been emailed to the Golf Shop may be viewed on this site every Wednesday. Please use the navigation link above.
- The groups will be randomly selected electronically on a weekly basis, however a group request can be made via the group email.
Weekend Games
- Anyone who wishes to participate in the $5 game must pay Jim Tibbs (or his substitute) prior to teeing off each day. If I miss you at breakfast a verbal commitment on the first tee is appropriate and the money will be collected after the round. "I'm always in", is not an acceptable statement after you have played 18 holes.
- The Nassau portion consists of three separate games and any one player may only win 1 of the three. The low net score of 18 holes is first priority, followed by front nine & back nine. In the case of ties the prize pool is divided equally.
- The snip portion is divided by the number of snips won in total and awarded to the low score on a hole by hole basis-2 tie all tie.
- Winners will be paid in full dollars the following weekend and any change will be set aside to help cover the costs of SCOTTY and PINE POINT trophies.
- All games are full handicap. Due to the large discrepancy in handicaps (0-27) players who wish to play black tees will receive one additional handicap stroke. It is up to all of us to keep our handicaps current so please enter all your scores in a timely manner.
